HAMA, SYRIA (6:05 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) High Command has sent more reinforcements to the northern Hama front in preparation for their new offensive to retake the territory they lost to Jund Al-Aqsa (Al-Qaeda group) and their allies.

A military source told Al-Masdar News on Thursday afternoon that a large convoy of Tiger Forces from the Aleppo Governorate were redeployed to the northern Hama front after a special request was put in by their commander Colonel Suheil Al-Hassan.

This Tiger Forces unit will join their comrades from the Shaheen Group at the town of Qamahna, where they will await order to to launch their large-scale counter-offensive against the jihadist rebels.

Also participating in this upcoming offensive is the Syrian Republican Guard, 555th Regiment of the 4th Mechanized Division, Syrian Air Force Intelligence Unit 333, 47th Regiment of the 11th Tank Division, National Defense Forces (NDF), and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP).
