BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:50 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has countered the jihadist offensive in northern Hama, taking back two villages after a fierce series of clashes.

According to a military source in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Division, along side the Tiger Forces, recaptured the villages of Khattab and Rahbeh in northern Hama.

The two villages of Khattab and Rahbeh were captured by the Al-Qaeda rebels on Wednesday, forcing the Syrian Arab Army to retreat east in order to avoid being overrun.

Intense clashes are still ongoing at the checkpoints outside of these villages; however, the Syrian Arab Army remains on the offensive at this moment.

  2. The situation looks sadly bad. As I said before to the warmongers tens of times before, our beloved SAA can’t fight and win on every front and thus Syria should resume its peace talks with Jaysh El Islam and with the other less extremists groups.
