BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:58 A.M.) – The Syrian Army with support from its allies have recaptured and secured Kawkab town in northern Hama countryside.
Tens of al-Nusra fighters were killed in the Syrian Army counterattack.
The devastating attack by the Syrian Army also resulted in the destruction of an operations base for them as well as two weapons and ammunition storages, four tanks, six armored vehicles and more than 9 pickup trucks fitted with 23mm guns.
The Syrian Army continues operations to restore all points lost to the jihadists in their recent assault.
Fresh Syrian Army reinforcements flooded into rural Hama yesterday which allowed for the renewed operation to take place.
