With the aggressive and rapid offensive by the Army of Conquest in northern Hama province today, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) withdrew from the town of Al-Buwydah. The Islamist rebels were quick to announce this as a victory, however, ground sources have confirmed that the SAA have known about this attack for atleast the last 3 days.
The Army of Conquest are a coalition of terrorist groups made up primarily by Al-Qaeda’s franchise in Syria, the Al-Nusra Front, and its Islamist allies in Ahrar ash-Sham, the Free Syrian Army and other minor extremist groups like Ajnad Al-Sham, Jund Al-Aqsa, Jaysh Al-Nasr and Jaysh Al-Fatah in the Hama front.
The terrorists bombarded the town with tow missiles and other explosives to advance into the town.
To minimize the death count, the SAA withdrew from frontal checkpoints like those inbetween Ma’ar Kibah and Al-Buwydah and other towns like Al-Saru, Al-Kiyam and Madajin Abu Hasan.
However, with Syrian and Russian airstrikes pounding areas that the terrorists captured, the SAA have begun their advancement to liberate these areas again. The SAA have re-entered Al-Buwydah and are in the process of trying to liberate it once again less then a day into it being occupied by terrorist forces.
Al-Buwydah is located 18km north of Hama city in the north Hama plains.
