Latakia, Syria (1:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Armed Forces launched a wide-scale offensive in the northern Latakia countryside today, targeting several hilltops and villages along the Idlib axis.

Led by the Desert Hawks Brigade and Syrian Marines, the Syrian Armed Forces began the day by storming the key hilltop village of Kabbani, where they were confronted by a large contingent of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Nusra Front) and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham fighters.

However, the Syrian Armed Forces have since expanded their military operations in northern Latakia, striking the key mountaintops of Tal Haddadeh, Jabal Al-Tafaiyah, and Jabal Hassan Al-Ra’i.

If they are successful in this military endeavor, they will be in position to attack the jihadist stronghold of Jisr Al-Shughour for the first time since their departure from the city in May of 2015.

“where they were confronted by a large contingent” Oh c’mon, Leith!

As many times have they traded Kinsibba there is no need to sugar coat it.

“SAA was forced to withdraw but they will regroup and attack again soon.”

How hard was that, honestly?

This type of reporting damages your credibility for no good reason.
