BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their military operations inside the eastern sector of Damascus on Tuesday, targeting the jihadist rebel defenses inside the Tishreen District and Al-Qaboun neighborhood.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army attacked the western rim of the Tishreen District, inflicting heavy damage on the defenses of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

While one unit struck the Tishreen District, a group of Syrian Arab Army soldiers from the 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard resumed their advance along Tahrib Souq Street, capturing more points from the jihadist rebels.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army’s recent progress in the eastern neighborhoods is meant to apply more pressure on the jihadist rebels to surrender Al-Qaboun, Barzeh, and Harasta.

I’m dreaming of the green buses
Just like the ones I used to know

When militants listen.
While their AKs glisten
To hear the horns when buses go.

p.s. You probably know the xms song.
