DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:50 P.M.) – The Syrian Army has reportedly bombed the Turkish military in northern Aleppo in response to a deadly airstrike conducted by Turkish jets against pro-government troops.
According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Turkish military positions in the town of Mare’ came under rocket attack fire by the Syrian Army. No casualties reported.
The attack comes in retaliation for a Turkish airstrike on troops loyal to the Syrian government at al-Zyara crossing which killed 8 fighters and wounded 10 others.
