Aleppo, Syria (12:45 P.M.) – The Syrian ceasefire agreement may temporarily cease hostilities between the opposition and government forces; however, the latter plans to expand their military operations against the jihadist rebels.

Per the ceasefire agreement, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and “moderate” opposition forces will not engage in violence for an indefinite period of time; this does not mean the government forces have to adhere to the same guidelines when it comes to groups like Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) and Jund Al-Aqsa (Al-Qaeda franchise).

According to a Tiger Forces source, the Syrian Arab Army will continue their military operations in northern Aleppo and they will not withdraw from the Al-Castillo Highway.

Initially, it was believed that the Syrian Armed Forces would withdraw 1 km north of the Al-Castillo Highway, but this was denied by a source from the Tiger Forces on Sunday.

The Syrian Armed Forces will allow humanitarian aid convoys to travel through the Al-Castilo Highway, but they will still maintain a presence on the roadway.

Thank God I heard this: “According to a Tiger Forces source, the Syrian Arab Army will continue their military operations in northern Aleppo and they will not withdraw from the Al-Castillo Highway.”

All the Humanitarian Aid vehicles should be searched as well. The world knows that weapons etc have been smuggled in these vehicles. Especially those travelling from Turkey.

f**k Lavrov, the men on the ground know what needs to be done. Drive the terrorist filth back into the Turkish caves they crawled out of, then let Erdogan sort them out in HIS backyard.

Putin should have listened to Shoigu and Soleimani (spelling?) from the very start.

What about Ahrar al-Sham and Jaish al-Islam? Will they be considered “moderate”?

Good, I suppose it’s just a matter of making clear that Aleppo is surrounded by islamists. Easier said than done, but I hope Russia is able to influence this in the right direction. Complete withdrawal from the are would have been suicide.

Actually, it’s the SAA that has the rebels surrounded, not the other way around.

If the SAA were to ever regain control of the country it would be a bloodbath. Assad has tortured thousands of people to death in his infamous jails and if he wins there will be a huge reckoning with tens or hundreds of thousands dead.

This war will never end, I think have bet on the wrong horse with Assad.

The Rebels/AQ have done a good job garnering worldwide support by using the Aleppo siege and wanton bombing of civilians and hospitals by Russia and Syria to portray themselves as saviors “Breaking the siege! and it has worked.
)
Its such a disaster the Muj look like good guys standing next to hospital bombers.
Who’s the real terrorists? they both are.

This is just a veiled attempt by Russia and the Syrian butcher Assad to rob the opposition of ts strongest fighters while giving diplomatic cover for the siege of eastern Aleppo. The US failed the Syrian people once again.

ROFL “the strongest of its fighters” the FSA hasn’t won a major battle without Nusrats or Daeshbags helping them in years.

You should sign up though; I heard they are in desperate need of a new Bacha dancer.
