BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies resumed their military operations in the Yarmouk Camp and Hajar Al-Aswad this morning, a source in Damascus told Al-Masdar News today.
Led by the 42nd Brigade of the 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army scored a new advance along the southwestern axis of 30th Street, forcing the Islamic State terrorists to retreat further north towards Yarmouk Camp’s southern neighborhoods.
The Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies would also fully secure the area around the Assad bin Furat School, while also destroying a number of trenches belonging to the terrorist forces.
Meanwhile, in Hajar Al-Aswad, the Syrian Army and Liwaa Al-Quds are currently attempting to advance in the northeastern sector of the town.
The two pro-government forces are facing heavy resistance from the Islamic State terrorists in northeast Hajar Al-Aswad, despite superior numbers and air supremacy.
