BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) and National Defense Forces (NDF), continued their large-scale offensive in the northern countryside of Hama on Saturday morning, targeting the jihadist defenses at the small village of Madajin.
Backed by heavy Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Armed Forces advanced from the nearby town of Taybat Al-Imam to the large hilltops of Tal ‘Aqab and Tal Al-Muntar, where they were confronted by an exhausted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham force.
Within three hours of launching this attack in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army’s elite Tiger Forces and their allies imposed full control over Tal ‘Aqab, Tal Al-Muntar, Madajin Checkpoint, Al-Samam Farms and its nearby village and checkpoint.
The Syrian Arab Army and their allies are now attacking Halfaya, where they hope to overtake the jihadist forces and seize this strategic town once and for all.
