BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:50 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in the Beit Jinn pocket of the West Ghouta, today, targeting the strategic hilltop of Tal Marwan that is controlled by the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group.

Led by the elite 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Arab Army stormed Tal Marwan’s eastern slope this afternoon after raining surface-to-surface missiles on thee enemy’s positions.

According to a military source from the 42nd Brigade, the Syrian Army is attempting to make their last push to capture this hilltop in order to force the jihadist rebels to surrender the town of Mughar Al-Mir.

The video footage below was released by the 4th Division’s official media wing; it shows their forces heavily shelling Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions at Tal Marwan.
