ALEPPO, SYRIA (12:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale offensive in the northern districts of Aleppo on Saturday, targeting both the Shuqayf and Bustan Al-Basha districts that were under the control of Fatah Halab.

Les by the Republican Guard and Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), the Syrian Armed Forces managed to capture Tal Shuqayf and 16 nearby buildings after a fierce battle with the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab this morning.

As a result of these gains on Saturday, the Syrian Armed Forces have now established fire control over the Aleppo Armament Base and Shuqayf Industrial Area.

Meanwhile, at the Bustan Al-Basha District, the Republican Guard forces captured more building blocks en route to their southward advance against the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab on Saturday.

@leithfadel how are SAA pushing south in Basha? Surely they should be pushing north? Rebels control areas north of it
