BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) made their first major push towards the southern Aleppo axis from northeast Hama, today, a Syrian military source told Al-Masdsar News.
According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard units advanced northeast of Al-Rahjan push towards the southern Aleppo axis, targeting the village of Jubb Awad and nearby hilltop of Tal Sheikh Mohammad.
The Syrian Arab Army would take control of both Jubb Awad and Tal Sheikh Mohammad after breaking through Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s front-lines in southern Aleppo.
In the coming days, the Syria Arab Army will attempt to connect their Rahjan and Khanasser pockets in order to secure the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
