BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched another big attack in the southeastern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate this week, targeting Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near the town of Al-Rashidiyah.

Led by their Republican Guard and 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Arab Army managed to score a large advance towards the Idlib Governorate after capturing three towns that were under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies.

According to a military report, the Syrian Army and their allies captured the towns of Al-Rashidiyah, Rasm Al-Sayal, and Rasm Al-Kabar, putting them at the outskirts of Ramleh.

In the coming hours, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham is expected to launch a counter-assault to retake these towns; if the Syrian Army can hold onto them, they will be in great position to advance into the Idlib Governorate.
