BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – Minutes ago, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) announced the liberation of three more villages in northeast Aleppo after making a large advance near the strategic city of Menbeij.

Led by their elite “Tiger Forces,” the Syrian Arab Army liberated the villages of Jren Menbeij, Tal Ma’iz, and Rasm Al-Kbar after a short battle with the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists occupying this area in northeast Aleppo.

Prior to liberating the aforementioned villages, the Syrian Arab Army seized Rif Za’raya, Al-Roufiyah, and Al-Roudah after surprising the Islamic State terrorists with a powerful assault this morning.

As a result of today’s advance, the Syrian Arab Army has now liberated 97 villages from the Islamic State forces in east Aleppo making this offensive their most successful operation against the terrorist group since the start of the war.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion
