BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:05 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale offensive in the eastern countryside of Aleppo on Tuesday morning, targeting a group of villages north of the Islamic State’s (ISIS) stronghold of Deir Hafer.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army liberated 5 villages from the Islamic State terrorist organization today in east Aleppo, killing and wounding tens of militants amid their latest push towards the western bank of the Euphrates River.

According to Al-Masdar’s northern Syria correspondent, Yusha Yuseef, the Syrian Arab Army liberated the villages of Jarkes, Al-Isma’eliyah, ‘Abajah, Mazra’a ‘Abajah, and Abu Tinah Jarkes in the Deir Hafer countryside.

With today’s advance, the Syrian Arab Army has now liberated over 10 villages in the last 24 hours and over 115 villages in the last 45 days in east Aleppo.
