BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) laid a powerful ambush on a group of jihadists that were trying to smuggle weapons into the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate this morning.
According to a military source in Homs, the Syrian Army unit caught the jihadist rebels trying to move weapons and ammunition through the Tal ‘Umari area in order to reach the militant-held town of Talbisah.
As the militants were moving the Tal ‘Umari area, the Syrian Army ambushed the jihadists, killing several militants and seizing the weapons they were trying to smuggle to Talbisah.
