Syria T-90

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:25 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) and National Defense Forces (NDF), launched a powerful assault in the eastern districts of Damascus on Wednesday, targeting the last parts of Al-Qaboun and Jobar under jihadist control.

Led by their 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies stormed Al-Qaboun and Jobar on Wednesday, striking the jihadist defenses from a number of axes, as their air force pounded Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s (Al-Qaeda affiliate) only supply line between the districts.

According to a local source, the Syrian Arab Army launched their fiercest assault this month on the Al-Qaboun and Jobar districts, inflicting heavy damage on the jihadist fortifications, while trying to infiltrate Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s defenses.

So far, no gains have been reported by any activists in Damascus; however, the Syrian Arab Army just began their ground assault after firing a barrage of rockets and artillery shells during the morning hours.

Don’t take any prisoners. Hang them on the spot.
