The Syrian Army began a large scale offensive to recapture the strategic town of Kinsibba and its overlooking hills.

The Syrian troops, mainly comprised of the Desert Hawks, the Syrian Marines, and the Special Forces, are currently storming Shalaf Castle hill and Tobal Castle hill south of Kinsibba. Sources claim that this wide-scale offensive will not end with capturing Kinsibba, but is rather aimed at fully sealing the Turkish-Syrian borders in Latakia and possibly even the Iblib-Turkish borders.

With reports suggesting that Jaish Al Fateh abandoned all its positions in southern Aleppo to reinforce its collapsing northern Aleppo front and the prominent Nour El Din al Zinki movement suffering huge casualties, the Syrian Army opening a new front against the Islamist groups could spell disaster for the jihadists who are already suffering manpower issues with recent stagnation in recruitment.

Feel free to point out any and all perceived mistakes.
As far as we know this map is quite correct and is built on information from people in Latakia.
