BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a massive attack on the jihadist defenses in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate tonight, a military source in the town of Mhardeh told Al-Masdar.

According to the source, the Syrian Army fired more than 100 missiles into the towns of Kafr Zita, Al-Lataminah, and Latmin.

The massive missile strike was conducted in retaliation for the jihadist attack on the densely populated government-held towns of Mhardeh and Suqaylabiyah.

In the coming days, the Syrian Army is expected to launch their large-scale ground assault to capture the towns of Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita.
