DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:40 A.M.) – Two high-level commanders of the FSA-affiliated Jaish al-Izza have been killed yesterday in clashes with the government forces in the town of Taybat al-Imam, northern Hama countryside.

The group’s official account on social media mourned the death of Saher Saleh and Mohammed Jallad; both described as ‘senior military commanders’ while attempting to curb the government troops’ advance.

The US-backed armed faction is fighting alongside al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria; Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly known as Jabhet al-Nusra) in the northern countryside of Hama, and was responsible of several deadly rocket attacks on the Christian city of Mahardah.
