BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) managed to kill several members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) on Friday after launching a powerful attack against the group in the northwestern countryside of the Hama province.

Led by their Republican Guard in the town of Joureen, the Syrian Arab Army unleashed a flurry of surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards the Free Syrian Army’s positions in the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

According to a military source in Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army scored direct hits on the rebel group’s positions in the town of Tal Sakhar, inflicting heavy casualties within the ranks of the Free Syrian Army.

The source said the Syrian Army was heavily targeting the rebel group’s rocket launchers and machine gunners that were positioned inside Tal Sakhar.
