BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) managed to kill several members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate on Monday.

Led by their Republican Guard, the Syrian military unleashed a barrage of surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards a gathering of fighters from Jaysh Al-‘Izza near the key town of Al-Latamnah.

According to a military communique from the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army’s attack on this Jaysh Al-‘Izza gathering resulted in the death of several militants near the southern axis of Al-Latamnah.

This attack by the Syrian Arab Army on Monday came in response to a late night assault from Jaysh Al-‘Izza near the large Christian city of Mhardeh in northern Hama.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
