BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:15 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a deadly attack against a group of jihadist rebels in the Hama Governorate last night.
According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army carried out a heavy attack against a group of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham jihadists at the town of Tal Sakhar.
The source said that the Syrian Arab Army managed to kill at least four Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham jihadists after their artillery shells hit the group’s trenches in Tal Sakhar.
In retaliation for this attack, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched several artillery shells towards the Syrian government strongholds of Mhardeh, Suqaylabiyeh, and Salhab, which are located just south of the Idlib axis.
As a result of this attack by the jihadist rebels, at least two civilians were killed and several others were badly wounded in northwestern Hama.
