A large unit of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) poured into the southern Aleppo countryside last night in order to help push back the swarming jihadist rebels.

With enough manpower to combat the jihadist rebels, the Syrian Armed Forces, alongside the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Harakat Al-Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary), recaptured several points near the villages of Zeitan, Burnah, and Hummayra in southern Aleppo this morning.

According to the military spokesman for Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies recovered several points that were lost to the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Faylaq Al-Sham, and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham.

In addition to this news, the spokesman for Liwaa Al-Quds also denied that Khalsah was captured by the jihadist rebels, despite earlier claims.

Most of the jihadist rebels were forced to abandon their recently captured points after the Russian Air Force pulverized their positions overnight.

“recaptured several points near the villages…” Ok, this is nearly nothing. Like Tal Eis etc. And SAA loose not less fighters than al-nusra&Co. Race to Raqqa? Really a good idea?

Forces in Aleppo have nothing to do with forces heading to Raqqa. If you read the Desert Hawks article you’ll know that they stay away from Tiger Forces which recently went back to Aleppo.
