Syrian soldiers from the Al-Qassem group in the Al-Sina'a District

ALEPPO, SYRIA (9:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Armed Forces, backed by Hezbollah, launched a powerful assault inside the southern sector of Aleppo on Tuesday, targeting the key district of Sheikh Sa’eed near Al-Ramouseh.

Led by the 102nd Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Armed Forces stormed the northwestern axis of Sheikh Sa’eed, where they were confronted by a large contingent of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) militants.

According to a local military source, the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah managed to reach the bridge inside the Sheikh Sa’eed District after seizing several buildings around the northwestern axis of the district.

Intense clashes are still ongoing tonight in the Sheikh Sa’eed District, as the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah attempt to advance east against the jihadist rebels.
