BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has foiled an opportunistic offensive by the rebel forces in the Al-Quneitra Governorate tonight.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army was able to beat back the rebel forces that attacked the town of Samdaniyah Al-Gharbiyah shortly after the Israeli attack.

The source added that no ground was captured by the rebel forces and no Syrian military personnel were killed.

During the rebel attack, the Israeli forces were hammering the Syrian Army’s positions in the Al-Quneitra Governorate, targeting the latter’s positions around Al-Ba’ath and Hader.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
