BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS) launched a major counter-offensive in the Deir Ezzor Governorate last night, striking the Syrian Arab Army’s (ISIS) defenses at the strategic military airport.

Launching attacks from the eastern and southern axes, the Islamic State attempted to infiltrate the Syrian Army’s security apparatus around the Deir Ezzor Military Airport; however, all of their attacks would ultimately fail by dawn.

According to local sources, the Syrian Arab Army killed an estimated 25 Islamic State militants during last night’s infiltration attempt, including a number of tribal fighters in the the terrorist group’s ranks.

Last night’s assault came just hours after the Syrian Arab Army launched a powerful operation to clear the area around the military airport.

All the gallant SAA forces in Deir Ezzor must be decorated with the highest medal honours the Syrian Government can bestow . Their stalwart defence will surely be the subject of Military teaching for hundreds of years.

Clear, especially if the war ends and they keep up until!
Thus, if you’re really well organised and have way to maintain supply and man power, besieged are at advantage : you need much more power to crack a siege than to sustain it while being besieged.

El trabajo es mas para la fuerza aérea, emplear bombas de mayor poder destructivo, en el lugar no hay presencia de civiles.
