DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:00 P.M.) – Having ousted the Islamic State from its last foothold IN the far western countryside of Daraa, the government forces initiated a full-scale mop-up operation to fully secure the area.

The operation uncovered massive weapon caches and supplies; specifically in the towns of Koya and Qusayer which were the last ISIS strongholds to be liberated.

The weapons, mostly Israeli-made, include: mortar shells, RPGs, ATGMs, assault rifles and various kinds of ammunition.

Israeli and Saudi-made food and medical supplies were also found in the two towns.

The entire Yarmouk Basin region was recaptured after the Syrian forces overrun ISIS in a two-week long battle.

Moreover, since who is really behind ISIS, namely Iran, has gone public, and as most of its military commander were former Iraqi Ba’athists, Bashar’s party being the Syrian Ba’ath branch, the regime may… Read more »
