A military source said that Army checkpoints in Tal Meleh and Jibeen have come under attack by jihadi groups, backed by armored vehicles and large numbers of militants.

“The attack has been successfully repelled. At least 20 militants have been killed”, the source added.

Meanwhile, Syrian and Russian air force conducted airstrikes against jihadi positions in Al-Lataminah, Az-Zakah and Zilaqiat, destroying a rocket launcher.
