At least 20 jihadist were killed, dozens others injured as the Syrian Army repelled their offensive on the northern countryside of Hama.
A military source said that Army checkpoints in Tal Meleh and Jibeen have come under attack by jihadi groups, backed by armored vehicles and large numbers of militants.
“The attack has been successfully repelled. At least 20 militants have been killed”, the source added.
Meanwhile, Syrian and Russian air force conducted airstrikes against jihadi positions in Al-Lataminah, Az-Zakah and Zilaqiat, destroying a rocket launcher.
Jihadi groups, including the Nusra-led Jaish al-Fateh, Jund al-Aqsa, and Ahrah al-Sham among others, have launched a wide-scale offensive against the Syrian Army in northern Hama, capturing several villages and towns.
