BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has entered two rebel settlements in the Dara’a Governorate, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported this afternoon.
According to the SANA report, the Syrian Army entered the towns of Al-Karim Al-Jnoubi and Al-Shaara’ after a reconciliation deal was put in place.
The SANA report added that about 450 people settled their legal status with the government, including 75 rebel combatants.
The remaining 375 people settled their cases with the government after avoiding compulsory military service.
