BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has reversed almost all of the jihadist gains in the northern Hama countryside after several hours of fighting near the Idlib Governorate border.

Led by the 4th and 11th divisions, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to recapture 5 villages from the jihadist rebels near the key town of ‘Atshan.

Among the villages recaptured by the Syrian Army were Umm Khazim and Baleel; these were seized by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza on Monday.

The Syrian Army is now targeting the small village of Umm Turaykiyah, which neighbors both Umm Khazim and Baleel.
