BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:15 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a powerful artillery strike against the jihadist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate on Wednesday, destroying a militant hideout near the town of Umm Sharshouh.

According to a military source in northern Homs, the Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Tank Division destroyed the headquarters of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham on Wednesday, killing at least three jihadist combatants in the process.

In addition to the casualties inflicted on the jihadist rebels, the Syrian Arab Army also destroyed a 12.7mm machine gun and a large number of mortar launcher.
