BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army launched a heavy attack on the jihadist defenses in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate this morning.
According to a military report from Hama city, the Syrian Arab Army targeted the launching pads of the jihadist rebels after Hurras Al-Deen group members fired several rockets towards government-held towns near the Idlib provincial border.
The report said that the Syrian Arab Army managed to destroy the jihadist group’s launching pads that were located inside the Idlib buffer zone.
In addition to destroying several launching pads, the Syrian Arab Army also killed a number of jihadist fighters that were present inside the Idlib buffer zone.
On Saturday morning, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the jihadist rebels of Hurras Al-Deen fired several rockets towards the government-held city of Souran in northern Hama.
The SANA report added that the jihadist attack managed to cause material damage inside Souran; however, no one was harmed.
