DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:50 P.M.) – More reinforcements from various military formations continue to pour into the southern front-lines as the Syrian Army prepares a major offensive against rebel groups in Daraa and Qunietra provinces.
Troops from the SAA’s Republican Guards, supported by the Palestinian Quds Brigade and National Defense Forces, headed to the southern province of Qunietra for the upcoming assault.
Military sources reported that the battle-hardened Tiger Forces will spearhead the onslaught in Daraa province.
According to unconfirmed reports, Russia has arranged a deal with Jordan and the United States whereby the Lebanese Hezbollah and all Iranian-backed forces shall withdraw 60 km from the Israeli borders and 25 km from the Jordanian borders.
Russian Foreign Minister said earlier that only the Syrian Army must engage in Daraa offensive.
