On Friday morning, the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) launched another powerful assault to capture the strategic Dumayr Military Airport in the eastern countryside of rural Damascus.

ISIS began the assault by storming the checkpoints under the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) control near the Dumayr Military Airport; this resulted in a violent battle that lasted for nearly seven hours on Friday.

Unable to infiltrate the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses, the terrorist group was forced to towards to the imperative town of Dumayr in the Qalamoun Mountains.

In addition to their failure at the Dumayr Military Airport, ISIS conceded the Badiya Cement Factory to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam) after a violent firefight.

According to a military source in Damascus City, ISIS lost well over 30 combatants during their offensive on Friday, including a number of foreigner terrorists.

Why SAAF doesn’t transform some transports to perform AC-47/AC-130 job : such things are really bad-a*s at CAS job : it can loiter for hours and bring a totally crazy firepower… Put 3 or four groups of 4*23mm gun like those of a ZSU-23-4 and a thermal vision aboard then…
