BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:45 P.M.) – According to Al-Masdar’s Yusha Yuseef, ISIS terrorists withdrew from Deir Hafer prior to being fully encircled this morning.
The liberation of Deir Hafer marks the first time in four years that the Syrian Army has been in control of this strategic town in eastern Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian Army however did not call it a day in rural Aleppo, and continued its advancements against the terrorist group.
This resulted in the liberation of Om al-Teeneh to the northeast of Deir Hafer.
The impressive advancements against ISIS comes despite the famous Tiger Forces, who have led the charge against the terror group in eastern Aleppo countryside, being mostly redeployed to rural northern Hama where militant groups are making powerful advancements against the Syrian Army.
