ALEPPO, SYRIA (4:50 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard, backed by Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), continued their large-scale offensive inside Aleppo City on Saturday night, targeting several sectors of the city that are controlled by the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab and Jaysh Al-Fateh.

Starting with the northern sector of Aleppo City, the Syrian Armed Forces continued their offensive in the Bustan Al-Basha District, capturing more building blocks amid the collapse of Fatah Halab’s first-line of defense.

Meanwhile, north of Bustan Al-Basha, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to push deeper into the Shuqayf District, advancing around the Tal Umm Abboud area after intense clashes with Fatah Halab tonight.

Inside the eastern sector of Aleppo City, the Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard, backed by the Ba’ath Battalions and National Defense Forces (NDF), made their second attempt at capturing the Suleiman Al-Halabi District, resulting in the seizure of several building blocks near the Water Pumping Station.

Intense clashes are still ongoing at several fronts tonight in Aleppo, while the Russian and Syrian air forces pound the jihadist defenses all over the provincial capital.

Especially as Kurdish YPG took al-Shuqayyif in northern Aleppo so cooperation between SAA and YPG is resuming which is a very good thing.
