BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) are closing in on the last jihadist bastions in northern Hama, as their units steadily advance from several flanks.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces and 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to capture at least a dozen towns in the last 48 hours, putting them in position to strike the jihadist stronghold of Al-Tamanah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Once Al-Tamanah is captured, the Syrian Arab Army will be in position to attack the key town of Khan Sheikhoun from its eastern flank.

While the Tigers push towards to Al-Tamanah, another unit from the Syrian Army’s 4th Division is attempting to advance on the key town of Morek, which is located just south of Khan Sheikhoun.

If the Syrian Army can recapture Morek, they will shrink the jihadist salient in northern Hama and leave the imperative towns of Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita surrounded.
