DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard carried out another special operation inside the East Ghouta, targeting a massive tunnel used by Faylaq Al-Rahman and their allies in Jobar.
Using intel they received from local spies, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade dug under the large enemy tunnel and placed a significant amount of explosives inside, before returning to their positions in Jobar.
With the explosives placed under the tunnel, the Syrian Arab Army took their time detonate the bombs, hoping to catch several militants in the attack.
The Syrian Arab Army finally detonated the explosives today, inflicting heavy casualties against the enemy forces, while also destroying this major supply tunnel that stretches across several hundred yards.
This special operation targeting the jihadist tunnels in the East Ghouta marks the second time in two weeks that the Syrian Army has carried out this kind of mission.
