BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:50 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a powerful attack against the Islamist rebels in the northern countryside of the Hama province on Saturday morning.

Led by their 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army launched several artillery shells and surface-to-surface missiles towards Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions in the town of Hasraya.

The Syrian Arab Army reportedly targeted a number of Jaysh Al-Izza hideouts and trenches in Hasraya earlier today; this prompted a big response from the Islamist rebels, who hammered away at the government’s positions near the town of Mhardeh.

Following the fierce exchange in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham attacked one another in the Al-Ghaab Plain of southwest Idlib.

The two warring parties attempted to inflict heavy damage on each other’s defenses in a bid to gain the upper-hand in this rural region in northwest Syria.

UPDATE!!! Kurds finally are getting into the reality. Co-president of the Syrian Democratic Council Riad Darar after numerous meetings with the Syrian Government representatives in Kamishli stated: “Syrian Army is the symbol of the country, protecting the borders along with SAA is a national action. Federalism project was a necessity in the past but we changed it with democratic decentralization.” Kurds finally realized they don’t have another choice but to join together with the Syrian government…
