Moments ago in the Dara’a Governorate’s northern countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s 15th Brigade of the 5th Armored Division – in coordination with the SAA’s 7th Armored Division and the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Izra’a – imposed full control over the east district of Sheikh Miskeen after the Islamist rebels from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) retreated to the city-center.
According to a battlefield journalist that is embedded in northern Dara’a, the Syrian Arab Army’s 15th Brigade has captured the Army Camp and several building blocks in the north district of Sheikh Miskeen as well.
The sources added that the north district of Sheikh Miskeen is on the verge of capture by the Syrian Arab Army’s 15th Brigade and their allies; if this aforementioned district is seized by the pro-government forces, they will be in position to capture the entire city.
The Free Syrian Army’s Southern Front Brigades continue to issue distress calls to any available rebels in the province; however, only Jabhat Al-Nusra answered until the FSA’s 19th Brigade posted a video showing their mobilization to this front.
There is still a lot of fighting left to go, but it appears that the Syrian Armed Forces are poised to capture the city of Sheikh Miskeen.
