BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched another big attack on the strategic hills in the northeastern countryside of the Latakia Governorate this week.

Led by the 42nd Brigade of the 4th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army began their attack this weekend by storming the last hills under jihadist control south of Kabani.

This big attack led to heavy clashes between the Syrian Arab Army and jihadist forces; it would result in the military taking control of several hilltops at the southern axis of Kabani.

The Syrian Army’s advance was captured by the Sputnik News Agency’s field journalists who were embedded with the military in northeastern Latakia this weekend.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
