Aleppo, Syria (10:20 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), backed by Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), continued their large-scale advance inside southern Aleppo on Thursday, capturing several sites from the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) in the Al-Ramouseh District.

Led by the elite “Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies managed to advance east of the Ramouseh Garages and seize several buildings from Jaysh Al-Fateh, including the Gas Plant, Municipal Offices, and Al-Dabaghat.

According to a military source in southern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces have already captured more than half of the Al-Ramouseh District, leaving the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh with their backs against the wall as their defenses crumble.

While the Syrian Armed Forces advance on the ground, the Russian Air Force is hammering away at Jaysh Al-Fateh’s main supply route between the villages Saraqib and Khan Touman.

A military source at the Hama Military Airport told Al-Masdar this morning that the Russian Air Force has carried out more than 60 airstrikes in southern Aleppo today, with most of their strikes targeting the village of Khan Touman.

Clashes are still ongoing in southern Aleppo at the moment, as the Syrian Armed Forces attempt to establish full control over Al-Ramouseh.
