HAMA, SYRIA (7:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale counter-offensive in the northern Hama countryside on Tuesday, targeting the key town of Souran and the nearby Russian Regiment Base.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army established full control over the Russian Regiment Base this afternoon, killing several members of Jaysh Al-‘Izza and Ibna Al-Sham just north of recently captured Ma’ardes.

Following the capture of the Russian Regiment Base, the Syrian Armed Forces advanced to the outskirts of Souran, where they were confronted by a large contingent of jihadist rebels at the town’s eastern flank.

With the Syrian Armed Forces at the outskirts of Souran, the jihadist rebels are now in serious trouble as the former looks to recapture all of the territory they lost in September.
