Just one hour after seizing the imperative hilltop of Tal Haddadah, the Syrian Arab Army’s 48th Special Forces Brigade – backed by the Syrian Marines, National Defense Forces (NDF), and Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) – imposed full control over Tal Al-Raqm near the Turkish border-crossing into the Hatay Province.

The capture of Tal Haddadah from the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Jaysh Al-Turkmen, and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) paved the way for the Syrian Armed Forces to seize Tal Al-Raqm this morning.

With Tal Al-Raqm under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces can now tackle the three imperative villages of Badama, Al-Najiyah, and Younso.

Perhaps the most important part about the capture of Tal Al-Raqm is the large buffer-zone that was created around the northern perimeter of Kinsibba.
