BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army stormed the Islamic State’s (ISIL) positions in the northeastern countryside of Hama, Sunday, targeting the terrorist group’s defenses just north of ‘Uqayrbat.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army managed to break-through the enemy defenses and capture four villages and several points following a short battle with the Islamic State militants in the area.

According to a military source, the Syrian Arab Army liberated the villages Jubb Al-Sa’ad, Rasm Al-Ammoun, Hanifah, and Hasso Al-‘Albawi.

All four of the captured villages are located along the main road between the rural towns of Ithriya and Al-Sa’an.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
