The special forces of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), backed by Hezbollah, captured over 25 farms in the strategic town of Darayya on Thursday, as they continue their large-scale push to seize the area.

According to Hezbollah’s official media wing, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies were able to seize over 25 farms that stretch across more than 500 meters of territory in Darayya.

This latest advance by the Syrian Armed Forces comes just one week after the Islamist rebels of Ajnad Al-Sham launched a failed offensive to recover their territory inside the town.

With their latest push; it appears the Syrian Armed Forces are attempting to split the entire town in half, leaving the Islamist fighters in the Association Quarter cutoff from the vital Darayya farms.

Isn’t it 25 strategic farms more appropriate?
