The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) attempted 5 suicide attacks in the western countryside of Al-Raqqa on Saturday, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the recently liberated Rasafeh Crossroad.
According to the Desert Hawks field journalist Eyad Al-Hussein, 4 of the 5 suicide bombers succeeded, killing a total of 8 soldiers near the Rasafeh Crossroad in west Raqqa.
Eyad Al-Hussein further added that all of the Islamic State’s suicide bombers were teenagers.
The last ISIS suicide bomber was captured by the Syrian Armed Forces before he could complete his mission.
The captured ISIS suicide bomber is a 13 year old boy that was part of a teenage brigade for the terrorist group.
