BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored another large-scale advance in northern Syria this week, capturing a number of towns in the Aleppo and Idlib governorates.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces in Idlib, the Syrian Arab Army was able to fully secure the Abu Dhuhour Military Airport, today, after seizing a half dozen towns located north of this installation.

In addition to securing the airport, the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces also managed to enter the southern countryside of Aleppo and link up with the soldiers there.

Meanwhile, at the southern Aleppo front, the Syrian Army has captured at least four towns, today, giving them axis to the eastern railway for the first time in years.

As a result of these advances, the Syrian Army has captured over 100 square kilometers of territory in northern Syria in the last 24 hours.
